Knitting for climate 1,5° – Brussels

Place du Luxembourg, 25/9/2024 Manifestation for the Paris Agreement and 1,5°C by concerned citizens from Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal and Sweden within EU and from Norway and UK within Europe. We bring our knitted red line, and show the EU parliamentarians that this is where we draw the line for the climate!
12.00 Action training and songtraining
12.50 Station Bruxelles Luxembourg we march with our knitted RED LINE and our Wool Roses across the square.
13.00 We will hand out scarves to newly installed MEP:s in the park in front of the statue of John Cockerill. We demand that all MEP:s work for EU to add ”The Fossil Fuel Non-Proliferation Treaty” as a complement to the Paris Agreement.

13.45 We march to Rosa’s Tree at Rue de La Paix.
14.00 By Rosa’s Tree we put down our Roses in a circle around the tree. We observe a minute’s silence for Rosa and all other victims from the climate crisis. https://www.knittingforclimate.com
